Open Abdominal Surgery

All operations of benign and malignant diseases (such as hepatobiliary diseases, gastric-, small intestine and colorectal diseases, pancreas diseases, hernia surgery) by means of open abdominal surgery with optimized perioperative care according to the “ERAS” (enhanced recovery after surgery) method. Essential elements of “ERAS” are: Gentle operation technique, optimal oral nutrition management, optimal and targeted pain therapy, modern anesthesia methods, early and consequent rehabilitation after surgery.
